Department of Immunohaematology

The Department of Immunohaematology serves as a routine and reference laboratory for the University clinic Frankfurt and further 75 hospitals of the region. About 90.000 crossmatches for red cell blood components, 30.000 antibody screenings, 15.000 blood groups and 5000 antibody differentiations are performed per year. The department provides a yearly training in immunohaematology techniques. The directory of services comprises a broad spectrum of serologic and genetic tests.
